Hola all!!!
Last weeks logs are up and available!
So we’ve made it through the first full week of raiding, and I have to say, I’m pleased with the start we’ve made. We’ve got the first couple of bosses down fairly easily and now we’ve got to spend a good amount of time on a significantly more difficult challenge.
I want to thank you all for the time and effort you have already put in, I appreciate it and I know it’s not easy when the wipes are piling up, but spending the time together has been the important thing and I do really appreciate the patience and enthusiasm that has been shown this past week.
What we’ve begun is not a simple small task, we’ve essentially taken a group of people who haven’t worked together before, and thrown them in the deep end. We’ve had two tanks learning to work with each other, healers learning to operate as a team, DPS still figuring out how to squeeze every last drop out of their class, and so far the work has been good.
But we have a ways to go. The plan this week is to repeat the kills on Kargath and Butcher, and then move on with Tectus. What happened to Brackenspore you ask? We will be back for him, the Brackenspore fight is awesome for teaching people to work together and communicate, and you would be amazed how far along that path we have come in the past week. But Brackenspore is tedious, and I don’t want to just keep burning on him unless we look like making significant progress.
So moving forward this week, if you haven’t already perused the logs, please do. If you don’t quite know what you are looking at, or if you look at your numbers and are disappointed, please feel free to get in touch with myself, or Zarashunda, or Therin, or someone else you trust and we will be happy to take a look with you. A lot can be learned from the information therein and they are a valuable resource for improving ourselves as players.
This week let’s hit the instance again with passion and fire, and let’s aim to head into Christmas with a couple more scalps under our belt.
Lok’tar Ogar warriors, see you Friday.
